More than 20-years of industry success providing quality-assured building services to the New York Metropolitan Area, we believe that commercial cleaning is a valuable part of delivering a highly productive, safe and healthy environment for our clients. Our professionals receive site-specific training and certification which can include fine detail cleaning, deep kitchen cleaning, and NYC Food Protection Certification. Our team supports our clients by working as an extension of their own management team. We create comprehensive cleaning programs for daily service and provide porters/dishwashers, keeping a sharp eye on Letter Grade success.
Harmony brings 20 years of experience in the New York City hospitality industry. She began her career working with exceptionally well-respected restaurant teams such as Pastis and BondST before joining York Business Services, Inc. (“YBS”) in 2014. Prior to that, Harmony began a niche cleaning service specifically for restaurants. Her observation was that many restaurant vendors specialized in the service they provide, but are often missing a critical intimate knowledge of how the working parts of a restaurant must come together. She created a training program for cleaning teams to understand the nuances of the industry better and work with restaurants as an extension of their management team, supporting clients in a fresh new way. In less than a year, this service became a part of the well-established commercial cleaning company York Building Services, Inc., a company created by her husband, Robert Rivadeneira, and his father, Alberto Rivadeneira, in 1997. The industriousness and neighborly qualities of her Ozark Mountain culture are shared as company culture. Her family's immigrant determination and eye on the future are common connections among the crew members. Harmony has cultivated a work-style mantra for YBS revolving around four key values: service, leadership, relationships, and integrity. This mantra is integral to the culture of YBS and leads the way in training crew members and teams as the foundation of the problem-solving and decision-making processes. Harmony invests herself fully in her crews and in her clients and is proud to serve an industry that serves each other.
