Given the current state of affairs and the impact on our industry, The NYCHG has amended its in-person meeting structure to continue to bring the hospitality community together. On 3/17 NYCHG conducted a zoom conference call with 33 attendees that consisted of hospitality service providers and operators. The meeting was structured to include a contribution by each participant to highlight how their respective company is responding to the current crisis and how they are advising their clients. The operators expressed where they need help, the tough decisions they are faced with, the thought process behind each decision, the ways they are helping their teams, the questions they are asking and what can be done to help the industry. NYCHG will continue to conduct bi-weekly zoom conferences to share the various perspectives throughout the industry, share in the learning and help each other get through this time as best we can.
