Adam has 10 years of experience working with employers in the hospitality industry. Over that time, he has worked extensively with restaurants, ranging from national chains to small, independently-owned businesses, to help them create a positive work environment and minimize their legal risk. To that end, Adam provides day-to-day counseling on employee-relations issues, conducts a wide variety of employee and managerial trainings, audits his clients' payroll practices to ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws and drafts workplace policies and procedures intended to cultivate a respectful and productive working environment. In addition to these risk mitigation efforts, Adam also handles all workplace litigation brought by restaurant employees, including cases for sexual or other types of harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination and unpaid wages, whether on an individual or class basis. Adam is passionate about both people and food and values getting to know each client, including their staff. He recognizes that every operator is different, and legal advice is not one size fits all. For this reason, Adam is committed to fully learning the business side of each client's operation, which allows him to tailor the advice he provides to each of the restaurants with which he works.
